Be part of a movement for water relief in East Africa

Nations in East Africa are currently suffering some of the highest rates of water insecurity in the world, and the lack of access to safe water is pushing people deeper into poverty.

We need to raise $250,000 by April 30 to help 10,000 people in East Africa access life-giving fresh water. Just $25 can help one person through Tearfund's safe water, hygiene and sanitation projects. Together, we can reach this goal. Get your church, workplace or school on board with these great ideas to fundraise for water relief in East Africa!

Tearfund's amazing supporters are making a difference for people in poverty across the world

Supporters making a way Rachel
Rachel ran an event called Fashion for Famine, a local clothes swap to raise funds for Tearfund’s work in food security. “Action doesn’t have to be something huge, but allowing yourself to feel and then respond in love is key...”
Cricket match SA 2023
In Adelaide, a group of cricket lovers gather every year to play a match while raising funds for Tearfund’s work. Josh, one of the organisers, says, “A lot of us are long-time friends and now many of us have young families – the annual cricket match is our yearly catch-up.”
Lorna
Lorna runs the Useful Gifts Shop at Melbourne’s Stonnington Community Uniting Church. “It gives our people joy to know that we are making a difference somewhere.”
