Join us as we explore the ways our Christian faith can offer young people hope for the future
Learn about the confronting reality of climate anxiety for young people in Australia today
Children and young people around the world are reporting alarming levels of worry and concern about climate change, with implications for their daily lives and long term health. According to research published by Tearfund, more than 3 in 5 young Christians in Australia are either very or extremely concerned about climate change. The younger the Christian, the more likely they are to be extremely concerned.
As Christians working with young people, how well do we understand the problem of climate anxiety, what is our pastoral response, and how do we go about sharing the Christian hope in this challenging context?
Tearfund invites you to a special panel discussion to explore and help you answer these important questions. Featuring a range of experts and practitioners in the field, this promises to be a highly engaging and equipping event that is a must for all those working alongside young people today.
