TEAR NSW Gathering

Now is the time for Christians to demonstrate hope. Not a hope that is disconnected from the confronting challenges of our times, but a 'sure and steadfast anchor of the soul' (Hebrews 6:19). A grounded hope that allows us to live in freedom and to move beyond the fear and anxiety of our times towards lives of generosity, justice and peace. A hope that is grounded in the truth that 'there is', and 'we are' a 'new creation' (2 Cor 5:17). We need to be the flag-bearers and demonstrators of this hope.

Come to TEAR NSW Gathering 2019 and be inspired, encouraged and equipped anew to live a life Grounded in Hope today.

The day will include keynote sessions in the morning followed by lunch and workshops focused around climate justice and advocacy, and explore about what it looks like to respond as Christians here in Australia to issues of poverty and injustice.

Keynote Sessions:

Dr Jacqueline Service, TEAR CEO Matthew Maury and TEAR Advocacy Lead Jo Knight
