How to host a not rubbish event TJC18 Fri Evening Session 010

Making The Justice Conference a “not rubbish” event

In association with: Renew Our World

The Justice Conference is a global movement creating moments in time for people to explore the intersection of faith and justice. These moments to gather people together are rare and important opportunities but they can also be really resource-intensive activities.

Our deep concern for people facing poverty around the world is coupled with the knowledge that consuming more than our fair share of resources has a disproportionate cost on people living in the poorest parts of our world.

So how do we balance the value of gathering together with our commitment to live within just and sustainable limits?

In this short video, Conference MC Lexie Keller Sheard shares some of the ways our TJC team works to lighten the event’s environmental impact. Plus, she’s got some “not rubbish” ideas for running your own church events.
