We have developed a briefing kit to help bring clarity as to why there is a need for Christians to engage with their MPs about climate change and to help provide clarity and direction to these conversations.
As part of this resource we have also created a step-by-step approach to arranging and ensuring an effective meeting with you MP on the topic of climate change.
Tearfund Australia sees climate change as a symptom of the brokenness that comes with humans living outside of the way God designed. We grieve over the way climate change stands to increase poverty across the globe, threatens to undo the progress made through international development, and have the most disastrous effects on the world’s poorest.
We are convinced that, in all things, God can work through us to bring restoration to this symptom of brokenness and to that raising our voices in advocacy is part of doing so.
