Phil Lindsay, Tearfund’s International Program Effectiveness Coordinator, is in the remote north of Nepal visiting the work of our partner Shanti.
In part one of his update, Phil describes how access to water and sanitation has transformed people’s lives.

In part two, Phil highlights the massive challenges that the community is facing. Frequent landslides in the area – the most recent just three weeks ago – destroyed many of the water pipes the community had built. Due to this, new pipes have to be rebuilt to ensure ongoing access to water.
