Note: Since the original filming of this documentary, Azijul, Taniya & Naseema have grown up. The basti under the bridge that was their home was eventually closed down by the city authorities. The families who lived there were relocated. TEAR partners in India continue to work alongside people like Azijul and his family, as they develop ways to tackle poverty and injustice in their own communities. Through our relationships with Indian partners, and with the communities in which they work, we continue to learn about the problems poor and marginalised people face, and how we can best act to see change.
