Health. Education. Dignity. In a world shaped by climate extremes and conflict, access to safe, reliable water is no longer guaranteed. When water systems collapse, everything built on top of them falls apart.
The Challenge
Over 90 million people currently face extreme hunger due to the worst drought in decades, leading to 70% crop failures in countries like Zimbabwe.1
Approximately 1,000 children under the age of five die every day from diseases caused by unsafe water, sanitation, and hygiene.2
Children in conflict zones are three times more likely to die from dirty water than from direct violence.3
In Nepal and Afghanistan, 30% of girls report missing school during their periods because they lack a private toilet with water.4
In Nepal, access to 24-hour running water has transformed an entire village — from health and hygiene to education and livelihoods. Safe water didn’t just change daily routines. It changed what was possible.
This is what safe water looks likeThe poor and needy search for water, but there is none… But I the Lord will answer them… I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys.
Change starts here – and grows when we work together! Start a fundraiser and bring your community along in providing lifesaving water where it’s needed most.
