NAIDOC Week 2020 – Praying with the First Peoples of Australia: Day 2.

Prayer with Joanne Garnggulkpuy and the Hope for Health Community, Elcho Island, NT.

My Name is Joanne Garnggulkpuy. I am a Hope for Health steering committee member. I have been on all the retreats and am proud to have been involved with Hope for Health from the beginning. I like looking after my grandson Jerome.

I love Elcho Island. This is my home. I grew up here on this island. Here on Elcho Island we are trying to build each other up. We are trying to build God’s Kingdom through praying for individuals and making them stronger. Bringing people together.

I am praying for people to be helping each other and to be united.

Pray:

The Health of people on Elcho Island and for Hope for Health as they run the health retreats and regular preventative health clinics.
For people to be helping each other, strong and healthy and united.
That people on Elcho will be able to live life to the full both physically and spiritually.
